A dragon.
A dragon fruit.
You see where this is going.
I like talking animals, objects with personalities, and ideas that start with “what if?” This one started with a fruit.

Astrid, also known as aemrld.
I’m an illustrator who loves vibrant palettes, expressive lines, fun textures, and character-driven storytelling. I especially love drawing people—or talking animals and objects—interacting with the world.
I hope my illustrations invite you to see things with a little of a kid’s curiosity. I’ve shared my artwork online as aemrld since the beginning.
